Tesla is getting ready to unveil the Model 3, its first all-electric sedan, and a major milestone in the electric vehicle revolution.
The automaker announced Monday that the Model S sedan will debut in 2019, a full year ahead of schedule, and that the third-generation Model 3 will be released in 2020.
The Model 3 and its successor, the Model X SUV, are expected to be on sale by the end of 2021.
The company said that it expects that roughly 10,000 Model 3 cars will be sold by 2021.
Tesla says that the cars will cost between $30,000 and $50,000 less than the Model 2 sedan and that Model 3 owners will be able to save more than $200 on the cost of a new car.
“There are some unique features and features that we haven’t shown off yet,” said Michael Horn, chief executive officer of Tesla.
“So for those who are interested, we’re showing them in the videos.”
Horn says that Tesla will also release more information on the Model III in the near future.
“We’re going to announce some things in the coming months and a lot more things,” Horn said.
“We’re really excited about what’s coming out.
And if you like to learn, there’s a lot to learn about Model 3.”
The first Model 3 debuted in September 2018.
It has an MSRP of $37,500 and a starting price of $35,500.
The vehicle is available in four trim levels.
A few months after that, Musk announced that the company had acquired the German-based electric car maker Audi AG for $2.6 billion.
In January 2019, the company announced that it would add a second electric car to the lineup.
The first Tesla vehicle, the X, was released in late 2019.
That car has an estimated price of around $45,000.
Tesla also released a smaller electric vehicle called the XPlay that was also released in early 2019.
The Tesla Model S has a MSRP and price of between $42,500 to $65,000, but the company has not revealed an exact price for the Model Y sedan.
The car’s first battery upgrade was released at the beginning of 2020, but it was not available for sale until November 2020.
Tesla announced that Model Y would be available in November 2020, which was the same date that the Tesla X and XPlay were released.
The price of the Model Z is currently unknown.
Tesla says that it will be priced between $85,000 to $120,000 with a range of around 300 miles on a single charge.
Tesla said that a price has not been set for the next-generation Tesla Model X, which is expected to debut in 2021.
“The new Model Z SUV will have more performance and capability,” said Mark Fields, an executive vice president at Tesla.
“For those who want to take advantage of the luxury of electric vehicles, the next generation Model Z will be the most compelling option in the lineup,” Fields added.
